Due to the recent rains, the water levels in the lakes are high. There is currently a “NO WAKE ZONE” for Third Lake. This is indicated by a red flag at the Village Boat launch, the dam and the Mariner’s Cove boat launch.

Third Lake is doing pretty good at responding, but we can still do better. The results of the 2020 Census will help determine how hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funding flow into communities every year for the next decade. That funding shapes many different aspects of every community, no matter the size, no matter the location. Don’t put it off!

The April Village Vine was delivered this week (finally!) It was sent to the publisher in the middle of March before the stay at home order was issued and the post office had a few snags in delivery. Much of the information is now outdated due to the lateness and the uncertain times that we are in today. We will not be sending a May Vine but stay tuned on our website or Facebook for any important information and happenings in the Village.
A few things to note:
– The Sunshine Garage Sale that was scheduled for May 14,
15 and 16 will be postponed.
– The Plant Sale at Independence Grove has been cancelled.
– The Mainsail drainage project is almost complete.
Happy Earth Day and Stay Safe Third Lake!
