Clarke Services will be performing the 3rd Village wide adult mosquito control application this evening, August 20, 2021, into Saturday morning, weather conditions permitting, due to the increasing West Nile Virus risk in the region.

As of now the weather forecast predicts rain, but we know how accurate that is! The rain date is 8/28 but hopefully we will not need it.

On 8/12 after 3:00 p.m., our landscaper will be in the Sunshine Subdivision picking up tree debris caused by the storm on August 10th. The landscaper will also be making a pass through Mariner’s Cove. Please have the debris placed at the curb as soon as possible for pickup.
UPDATE AS OF 8/13/21 12:30 PM.
Druce Lake was tested on 8/10/21 and the results came back within safe levels.
Druce Lake Beach is now open and is safe to swim.
The Lake County Health Department tested Druce Beach in Mariner’s Cove and high levels of bacteria were present. The LCHD will retest.

The date and time have been set for the Lake County Health Departments, “Explanation of Aquatic Weeds”
All kayakers, paddleboards and canoers are welcome to join LCHD for an educational tour of the water vegetation in the lake. There is no fee for this event and if you wish to participate please email the Village to be added to the list. The meet up is at the Mariner’s Cove boat Launch at 2PM on August 5th If you know anyone who wants to participate in this please have them email Vstevens@thirdlakevillage.com or call the Village at 847-223-8422.
