Our condolences to the Hoppe family. Harold Hoppe was a trustee for the Village of Third Lake for many years. We appreciate his dedication and service to the Village.

Harold F. Hoppe, age 79, originally from Northlake, but a long time resident of Gurnee, Illinois passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Harold was born May 25, 1942 in Chicago, IL to Harold and Ellen Hoppe. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, Cubs and Bears fan. Working for 37 years he retired from Lucent Technology, and was the trustee of the Village of Third Lake for 13 years.

Harold is survived by his wife Margaret Hoppe; daughters Ellyn (Glenn) Hausl and Kimberly Hoppe; sons David, Daniel (Lori), and Joseph Hoppe; eight grandchildren Tom Hausl, Sara Hausl, Tim Hausl, Allison Hausl, Samantha Hausl, Jacob, Dylan and Lindsey Hoppe; great grandchild Laila Hoppe; loving brother to Mary Lou Larsen and the late Donald Hoppe.

A visitation for Harold will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 1:30PM to 4:30PM.
